"A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."
~Albert Einstein

We do apologize for any frustrations that errors in our patterns may cause.  Try as we might, errors still happen despite having pattern proofers and reading carefully through patterns before they hit our shop shelves or into your homes.  If you find that you are having trouble with one of our patterns please feel free to contact us!

  • BALDWIN BEND:
    • Fabic B:  Cut (2) squares 19 1/2 x 19 1/2 from Fabric B (not C)   UNIT C
    • Under flying geese unit assembly - 3rd paragraph should read  6 1/2 x 12 1/2 inch Fabric A  (not B) rectangle
    • The 4 x 4 squares are sewn on each end of the 2nd border.  Measure the side of your quilt - cut (2) border strips this length and sew a 4 x 4 square on each end.  Measure the top and bottom of your quilt and cut (2) border strips this length.  Sew on the top and bottom of the quilt.  Press.  Sew the pieced side borders on the quilt and you are ready for applique!
  • STORM WATCHER
    • We apologize for the confusion on the SKU that is listed in the pattern directions.  Please think of SKU as "each piece of fabric"  In our shop, we order each piece of fabric as a SKU or stock-keeping-unit number

  • STROKE OF LUCK
    • Error in the "Dark Fabric" cutting directions.  Under the "from the fifth charm square" change cut (1) 1 7/8" square to cut (4) 1 7/8" squares and cut in half diagonally once to yiled (8) 1 7/8" triangles
